✨ Meet Emily Starlight ✨
Emily Starlight was born in Hong Kong in 2009 to her British and Irish parents, Iain and Natasha.
From the very beginning, Emily experienced the world differently.
Emily is autistic and has oromotor dyspraxia, which made speaking extremely difficult when she was young. Although she understood far more than many people realised, the words simply would not come out.
To help her connect with the world around her, Natasha created stories inspired by family, friendship, adventure, and everyday life. Those stories became a bridge between imagination and understanding.
Over time, those bedtime stories grew into something much bigger — the beginnings of Star Paradise Island.
Today, Emily loves coding, languages, gaming, creativity, and helping other neurodiverse children feel welcome and understood. Her ability to see the world from a different perspective has inspired many of the ideas, characters, and values that shape Star Paradise.
